Hi

I've tried to embed both a web page and online PDF in various different ways into my Xerte, but with no success.

The best I can get is in IE a message that says "navigation to the web page was cancelled"
And in Chrome nothing shows at all.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I have tried the "embed content" feature in Xerte, but this doesn't work by entering a web address.
I have also tried the <object....> code below with different web pages:

<object data=http://www.web-source.net width="600" height="400"> Error: Embedded data could not be displayed.

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Hello Amy:

In the embed content page (red <> icon) put this string into the 'Embed code or URL' field (the lower box on the screen). Don't put quotes around it.

www.labour.gov.on.ca/english/hs/elearn/worker/index.php

This opens up the website here, it should for you as well. I'm also looking for suggestions as to the best way to embed PDF's. The flash paper page has been deprecated, has it not? Any other options?
