Hello,

I have recently noticed that the Hotspot image panel size reduces when viewed on a large screen. For example on a standard laptop the image in fine and the space either is balanced but when viewed on a large monitor screen the image is significantly reduced as the space either side increases.

Is this something anyone else has encountered? I could be wrong but it seems to be an issue since our university updated to v.3.13. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

can you share a link to an example of what you mean along with more details? If necessary share the project with my Cardiff account and let me know.

I've just tested that on my various monitors including 4k and don't see what you describe.
Indeed I did some more tests before sending this and I'm guessing that what you mean is that the overall width of the page content and text is reduced when above a certain screen resolution is that correct? Is your project using the Flat:CESI theme and if so what happens if you change the theme to say XOT1 does it then work OK? If that is the case we might need to update something in the Flat: CESI theme.
However can you also export your project and import and test it on your test server which is 3.14x and does the same happen with that?

Thank you very much for getting back to me. Switching to XOT1 does seem to solve the issue. Now the image appears much larger on all screen sizes.

good to know that changing to xot1 resolves the issue but I'd still like to be sure about the specifics of the issue so could you answer my different questions?
I couldn't reproduce the image size being incorrect regardless of theme. I did however see what I describe previously which did seem to be specific to the theme and version.
You shouldn't have to change theme so please check and answer my previous questions.
I will be upgrading your installation to 3.14x next week so it's important to bear clear about all this before then if possible.
