I just downloaded Xerte XAMPP & trying to configure I could run apache

This is the Xerte forum, not the XAMPP forum. Please post this on the XAMPP forum.Yes, Xerte can run on XAMPP (as it is a web application), but otherwise Xerte has nothing to do with XAMPP.
