Hello,
I'm very new to the Xerte platform and have come across 2 problems with the bootstrap template that I was hoping someone could help with.

1. Line Spacing in a body of text:
If I am writing a body of text that requires line breaks, for example a company address, the site is defaulting to having a gap between the lines. The line height is at the lowest setting (1rem). Is there a way this can be removed?

2. If I do want a gap in a body of text, by pressing enter twice to jump down to a new line, the preview of the site is not reflecting this and the text is all appearing with a uniform gap, regardless of however many times I hit enter to create space.

I have attached 2 images to try and explain what I mean. The first shows the text I have input and the gap between each line that I don't want. It also shows the space that I have created between the contact details. The second image shows how this previews, with the deliberate gap now having disappeared.

The strangest thing about these two problems, is when I was first introduced to Xerte, about a month ago, I created a test site using the Bootstrap template and neither of these two problems arose.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Hi Neil
1. If you do shift-return (rather than just return) to make a new line then the space between the two lines will be less.
2. Do you know what version of Xerte you are using? I know that v3.10 there was an issue where if you had added multiple empty new lines in text then these would appear compressed and similar to if only 1 new line was entered. This should be fixed in v3.11

I hope this helps
Fay
