Hi
My project has been published and set to public. I have an URL for the project, and when I click on the link from my computer the project link works. however when I try and access the project from another computer I get an error message saying this page is not available. The link may be broken or page may have been removed. Can anyone help me fix this so that my project can be accessed via the URL provided?
Thanks

I suspect you are using xampp or something similar and that your link starts with localhost.

You cannot reach localhost from any other computer but your own.

You can try to replace localhost with the IP address of your PC, but if that works, it will only work within your own network.

You need to install xerte on a pic server to be able to let other people use the link to your project.

Thanks for the quick reply
Yes that sounds right- how can I install xerte on a pic server ? And will I be able to share Learning objects that I have already made on the local host one that I am currently using so that I don’t have to make them again?

Apologies, I meant a public server.

And yes, you can export the lesrning objects on the local server and import in the public server.
