SpottyPoppy Topic Author Offline New Member Posts: 4 Thank you received: 0	Trying to upload an MP4 video file to Xerte using the media adding video page and get the following error message... Invalid backend response Data is not JSON Absolutely clueless here - don't want to upload to youtube and embed that way as it needs to be seen in China and I think any youtube video content will be blocked. Any ideas?

Hi
a few questions...
Who looks after your installation you may need to refer this to them?
How big in terms of files size is the mp4 you were trying to upload?
If large does it work with a smaller file?
Do other media like images upload ok?
If yes and the video isn't too large for whatever the server limit is then it may be that whoever looks after your installation has changed the configuration to prevent uploading of certain file types.
