Ok, I log in as jbrown (not admin) at theedtechhub.co.uk.
I created a project and worked through the first few steps of your tutorial. I can 'play' just text, but when I add an image I can preview, but not 'play,' which gives 'error.' (See errorlog.jpg, which has some 403 and 404 errors - don't know what that means!)

I checked permissions in MySQL Databases - there was only one default user (with full permissions), and I've added extra 'admin' and 'jbrown' users with full permissions.

I don't know where to find root_file_path and import_path!

Cheers,
Jon

root_file_path and import_path are values in the sitedetails table. Make sure they are correct. On your server those values should be something like /home/yourserveraccount/public_html/ and /home/yourserveraccount/public_html/import/

You don't need to add other mysql users you just need to make sure that whatever account you used to connect to the database during set up has full permissions but setup wouldn't have completed properly if that user couldn't write to the database.

I can see that theedtechhub.co.uk/USER-FILES/1-jbrown-N...SC07787_(Medium).JPG is in place so that suggests that uploaded fine and therefore settings should be ok. Can you make the project public and share the link?

Also, htaccess only contains: 'ErrorDocument 404 /.errors/404.php'

Here's the link:
theedtechhub.co.uk/play.php?template_id=1

Unfortunately, I can only 'publish' without anything in the image box. When the file is selected, I can preview, but not play or publish.

I've found the import_path and root_file_path in PHPMyAdmin, but can't see any way to view their values in plain text (see screenshot).

Could you please try an image without '(' and ')' in the filename.
