Do others find it irritating that the Xerte Online Editor Window cannot be resized? Or is there a way of doing it? I use two screens of the same resolution but when I drag the window to my right screen (as I often do) I lose the bottom of it and consequently the Play button and other controls.

Not sure when your code is from, but in the later versions you can resize it,

I find that I have the same issue in IE11. I'm running XOT v2.0 (25 April 2013 build) in Internet Explorer 11. Browser window size is locked at 800x600 (maximize button is greyed out) while editing/previewing LOs; however, the "main' XOT window (localhost/xertetoolkits) can be resized.

Browser window resizing works in Firefox/Chrome but then there is the issue of mainHolder visiblity being set as hidden while previewing in both of those browsers.

Hi both
actually in my experience the editor window is resizable in Chrome, Firefox and Safari but not IE. Just tested that with latest 2.1 code too but anecdotally I'd say this has been the case for ages. Never really looked into it why.

So short answer Bob - can you use a browser other than IE? Zoom settings can also have an effect.

Hi,

There are still a few quirky size issues on some of the windows where scrollbars come on because the window is just 1px too little... I've not been able to get to the bottom of it yet but it is on my radar to try to fix...

Greg, you said

but then there is the issue of mainHolder visibility being set as hidden while previewing in both of those browsers

Can you explain that a bit further? Does the LO not render at all? In Chrome/F12 Dev console do you see any console errors?

John
