I apologise in advance if this is a very simple fix, I'm very new to Xerte! I'm in the process of mocking up some tutorials and testing the accessibility. I made the base in Xhibit. When I look on my preview and try to use the accessibility functions, they don't seem to work correctly (see attached gif) - half the page may work correctly whilst the other half is left without any changes. Has anyone experienced this? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Cat

Hi
there are two options when you save your xhibit theme and I'm guessing you have used the option where you save the stylesheet and add it directly to your LO? Unfortunately if you use that option the accessibility options do not fully work as you have discovered. However if you use the other option in xhbit to download as a custom theme and add that to your installation then the accessibility options will work. This is because for the accessibility options to work fully when a user chooses Invert or Black on Yellow it changes theme completely whereas a stylesheet or custom css uploaded directly to the LO takes priority and therefore any colours set in those styles can't change.
We are however looking at whether we can change this somehow in a future release.

Hi Ron. Would you be able to help me? I am new to Xerte, though not authoring eLearning. I've created a LO, uploaded to Moodle, and it shows the yellow on black theme by default. I'm using an Xhibit basic theme, which is uploaded to media folder as a css. Any idea why it looks fine locally but, on the LMS, it defaults to yellow on black? Which I assume is the Accessibility UI?

Thank you,
Aaron
