At Deltion College we want to develop our interactive Xerte online modules for mobile use on smartphone. It more or less is a trial and error proces. Some templates are perfect for use on smartphones, other templates don't.The settings per page must also be chosen very precisely.
It seems a good idea to me to make a preset of suitable pagetypes and make them available via the mainmenu. So a new entry 'Smartphone template' next to Xerte Online Toolkit, Bootstrap Template and Decesion Template. The pages used in this new template must already have setting maximised for use on your smartphone.
I like to have this new entry next to the Bootstrap template. Bootstrap works beautifull on the smartphone, but cannot have interactivity, else then embed a excisting Xerte module.
Of course a new theme should be created, special for smartphone use. Swiping should be nice, but also a big < an > at the side of the screen is a possibility.
