Help trying to setup Xerte on a pc

I have installed Xampp and downloaded to my c drive the xerte tool kit.
The guide suggests going to localhost/xertetoolkits/setup/ to install but this link doesnt exist. where should I be going?

What I would expect is that xampp is installed in c:\xampp. If that is the case you need to unzip the Xerte Online Toolkist package in the folder c:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits.

Also, sometimes XAMPP chooses a different prot than port 80. You can see that in the control panel of Xampp:



In this case the server is running on port 8080 instead of port 80.

The correct url would be:

localhost:8080/xertetoolkits/setup
