Register users and remove guest

I installed xerte and I want to make the guest user have a password.

I entered the configuration area as administrator but the option to set a password for the guest or create users with a password does not appear

You are using guest authentication at the moment, and you need to switch to Db authentication.

NOTE that your will NOT be able to get to the resources you created for guest. So if you have resources you want to keep, you need to export them first and import them later.

You can switch to Db authentication in the Authentication section of tab Site (on the management page)

I get to the site tab - credentials configuration and I see guest

But I don't understand what I should do after that step, if you would be so kind please tell me specifically how to add new users because it is not clear to me.

Hello, I have already figured out how to do it. Now, apart from having the administrator account, I have the way to create and manage users.
