I want to create an absolute link to another page in Xerte, so that that link continues to work even if the site is migrated to another website. Where do I find the unique ID of a page and how do I note such a link?

I think this will be a challenge since when a site is migrated elsewhere, the template_id in the URL will change. Perhaps the page you want to always stay the same (call it 'statue') can be a standalone object that is embedded into your new project. That way, if your new project is exported and reimported elsewhere, it will always show the embedded page, 'statue' (provided your embedded page is always left available to be accessed on the internet.)

Yeah, that makes sense. Using an embedded standalone page sounds like a smart workaround, especially if the template ID keeps changing. Just need to make sure that page stays online and accessible.

Thanks for the tip!
