Always see the first item in the interactive list

When I use an interactive list, I see the menu of the various list items on the left. The first corresponding item also always appears on my screen. When I click the navigation button to continue, I always see the first item. But if I go back and scroll back and forth, the first item no longer appears. I then have to click on them separately in the menu on the left. Why is the first item not shown when scrolling back and forth in the list? How can I solve this so that the first item always appears again when browsing?
