Upgrade alert banner support for Xerte themes

Hi All,
I think I might have a solution to this issue then. Basically I have edited the following files to add and update the "alert_banner" variable which is then displayed on the top of the site before the main content and after "topbanner" :

\xerte_bath
languages\en-GB\website_code\php\management
site.inc
setup\
basic.sql
page3.php
page4.php
website_code\php\management
site.php
site_details_management.php

Is this something others are interested would the lead developer(s) would be willing to accept a pull request if sent on github ?
