I have an HTML5 course that I've created that works perfectly when I export it and stick it on a web site and point the browser at index.htm. There's no score keeping, and I use my own buttons instead of Xerte's buttons to move from page to page [but I call the Xerte functions just like the Xerte buttons]).
Now I need to send it to our LMS vendor for hosting, and they want it wrapped in SCORM. Do I need to do something special to the course, or do I just export it as SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004?
I tried taking both of those exports and feeding them to Reload SCORM Player and also simple-scorm-api from GitHub and in both cases, I get an error about the manifest file. But both of these projects are so old, I don't know if it's a problem with them or with the Xerte export. And I hesitate to send it off to the vendor (who charges real money to load a new course) if I can't even vouch that the thing works correctly.
Any advice for the clueless (i.e., me)?
Thanks,
