There's no hurry, Fay. The guides I have put up are fairly specific to the use of Xerte for language learning, and to the way we have Xerte set up in Reading, but I'm happy for them to be adapted and reformatted. As I've said in a previous post, I'd also be happy to work as part of team putting together a documentation resource, bearing in mind the comments Ron made about maintaining it in the long term.

Hello all,

As part of the Xerte project at my institution I have created a Xerte User Guide in preparation for single-sign on, we've been running with manual accounts up till now. Is this useful for the wider Xerte community?

This will be a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license so, happy to share when I've finished tweaking a few more pages.A couple of screenshots as a festive teaser!

Happy New Year everyone!

Please find attached the Xerte User Guide I have been working on for the past few months. I have the Page Template page hidden at the moment but it could be used to provide documentation (from our updated Google doc) on the page templates that need further explanation. Happy to share this, it has a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. The following link will be live until 15th January after which it will not be available for those outwith my institution (security!).

Hi Alison

Would you be able to share this again?

Best wishes

Hi Yvonnne,

Apologies for the link no longer working. My institution tightened up the security and LO's can not be viewed outside our network using the URL. Here is a link to an Archive.zip file of the Xerte User Guide that you can import into your Xerte installation and amend accordingly.

An archive copy of Alison's Xerte User Guide (opens a GoogleDrive folder)

Best wishes,
Alison
