Hello,

One of our modules was working properly last night. But this morning, the link stopped working. Using the editor to open the file, the 60-pages module only got 29 pages left. The last page with error is attached. Once delete this page, the link will work again. But missing pages will never come back.

This has happened several times on different modules and different languages. I guess it may be the bug somewhere. It is rather weird that after you finish all the slides and publish them and everything is fine for days and days. Suddenly the link is not working anymore and half of pages are gone.

Regards,

Hi
a few quick questions:
What installation are you using - who looks after it?
What version?
Did you lose the pages after making a change?
Had you pasted any text content into any of the pages e.g. from Word?
Had you added any HTML or custom code to any of the pages?
Were you editing the LO on a slow connection or did you experience any connection problems while editing?
Thanks
Ron

Hi Ron,

Many thanks for your reply. Do you mean that the items in the list will cause this?

- I am still waiting for the reply of the first two questions from our partner who look after the server.
- We have module 1 in Icelandic and module 1,4&6 in Spanish version lost pages. In module 1, both languages even lost the same number of slides. After done some work there, published and logged out. The links were working properly. But overnight, when open the file again, some pages simply missing.
- Some partners pasted content from WORD and made the link invalid, then were advised to paste from Notepad.
- yes, HTML code has to be there, e.g. links, images.
- I did not have the slow connection problem. But I am not quite sure other partners.

The English version of all modules seem very stable. Just guess whether some languages have some letters or symbols disappoint the Xerte platform?
