How does Xerte generate the unique linkID for each page (for example linkID="PG1389703757358")
I notice they are not consecutive, is there a convention to naming them?

The reason I ask is if I create a page directly in the data.xml how do I come up with a linkID? I also want to move some pages from one LO to another. If I do a straight copy/paste will the linkID need to be changed?
Thanks,
Karl

It's the number of milliseconds since Jan 1 1970. If you want to create one, use the same formula
'PG' + new Date().getTime();
