How simple could it be to allow a green tick/check to appear within the navigation menu fly-out so it appears next to each page that has been visited?

Some context; I have created a linear LO with (navigation via Back and Next buttons only) however, when testing (SCORM 2004) in the VLE some pages are not recorded as being viewed - I know I visited that page, I saw it!

I only allow the 'ALL' Navigation Buttons setting on my final page (which is a basic, 'click here to close' page) but it gives the learner an opportunity to review the LO and visit pages that were 'not recorded as viewed'.

i.e.
Page 1 - Viewed
Page 2 - Viewed
Page 4 - Viewed
Page 6 - Viewed
Page 7 - Viewed

Where's Page 3 and Page 5?

So my workaround would be to ask the learner to open the LO again, (which should take them to the last page they viewed, often this will be the final page of all) click the navigation menu icon and visit all pages without a green tick.

I realise that there maybe a wider issue perhaps with my VLE or maybe the SCORM settings, but as a workaround, this maybe a neat feature?

Who else has experienced a similar issue?

There might be several reasons for this behaviour,

- Which page type do the 'missing' pages have?
- Any chance that you gave them a 'weighting' of 0?

We're working on a better way of tracking çompleteness. It will be avilable in the next version.

Also to add to what Tom has mentioned the new version will have automatic ticks in the TOC as well as an optional progress indicator. You can see an example of both via this copy of the page types demo training.mitchellmedia.co.uk/xot/play.php?template_id=62

Ron, Tom,

Thank you for the replies.

Tom, I shall check your suggestions for the meantime.
Ron, that is exactly what I am after - when is the new version available?
