Also, I can´t seem to find any basic information or tutorial, like step to step how to start, showing each window at a time. Can you point me to one? Vigdis

what are you trying to import?
You can import images: .jpg, .png, .gif, .svg
You can Import audio: .mp3
You can import video: .mp4
You can also import .pdf
Via the properties panel > media and quota you can also upload other formats like .doc, .ppt etc but these will not import and convert it's just a way of uploading and linking to those file types.
There's a basic video guide linked from the login page e.g. yourinstalladdress//modules/xerte/training/toolkits.htm

There's also some older but still generally valid guides that I created here: training.mitchellmedia.co.uk/xot/play.php?template_id=78

Likewise you'll find lots of older but still useful tutorials on YouTube just search for Xerte!
