Hi All,
I wonder if you can help.
Can an image be added to the Media > Transcript Reader page in Xerte?

The option to add an image is not in the Optional Properties. But I wonder if I can add some code to the Script (where the code starts by default //javaScript / jQuery.

Does anyone know that code I can then add to the script so that an image I upload into the Media Repository will pull through on to the left pane (left side of the screen)? No worries if it can't be done, but it would be nice to have an image on this page with my audio and transcript. Thanks in advance for your help. Anne

Hi Anne
I may be mis-understanding your question but you can add one or more images wherever you can use the wysiwyg toolbar so in this case either the instruction pane or the content pane. Just turn on the toolbar and use the image icon to add and position an image or multiple images. Make the width/height of each image a percentage too so that the images are responsive. The older optional properties for browsing to and uploading a single image are really only still there to maintain backwards compatibility and for specific page types like image interactions now that you can add images and media just about anywhere.

Just a warning.

You cannot use a percentage yet, that will be a feature of the next version.

(Well, you can set a percentage now as well, but you would need to go to the source view of the html code, and then change the size into a percentage. In the next version you will be able to set the size in percentages in the user interface when uploading or choosing the image).

Actually Tom that might be true for those on earlier versions/revisions but Anne and colleagues at Northampton can because I look after their installation and have installed a particular revision of develop.
