Hello,
I am trying to add a page: Delicious bookmarks in my project, but it does not work. The message is: There was an error loading results.
Probably I am not writing the correct options.
Search term:
Search in: user
I wrote the name of the username in delicious in Search term.

Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance!
Cristina Fuertes

You're right that if you select the search user option you have to add a delicious username. Are you sure that you are using a valid username? As a test try my delicious username which is ronm123 does that show results?

Another possible way to achieve this is add a unique tag to your delicious bookmarks e.g. something nobody else is likely to be using and then add that tag in Xerte and choose the recent or popular option.

IF you don't see any results with either of these options it may be that your server is blocking external data?

Also what version of XOT are you using?

Dear Ron,
thanks for your fast answer!
We have delicious username called grecol you can search on delicious:
delicious.com/grecol
I have tried also the two option you have mentioned using a tag (grecol) with recent or popular option and the message is the same.
I have also asked yo the ICT technician in the school and he told me our server is not blocking external data.
I do not know: what do you mean version of XOT?
Thanks,
Cristina

Hi Christina
I mean what version of Xerte Online Toolkits (XOT)? Visit yourinstalladdress/version.txt

Here's a quick temporary test/link to show it should work training.mitchellmedia.co.uk/xot/play.php?template_id=161

That's using XOT 3.1 but the same thing works with previous versions too. It seems likely that something is preventing your particular installation from working. That said are you exporting your project or just linking to it from the Xerte installation? Is there a public link you can share?

Hi again,
we are using XERTE 3
We have a public link, the project is not finish, but you can have a look at:
xerte3.ioc.cat/xertetoolkits/play.php?template_id=2
Another question we have, it is about css styles using toolkits. We would add some icons for identifying modules, contents and activities in the header, we have seen we can edit the code of the headers, but we are not sure about how to call the css for this sections.
Thanks for your help!
Cristina

Ok part of the problem is that your install is using https which can cause problems loading non https content e.g. the console shows:
Mixed Content: The page at 'xerte3.ioc.cat/xertetoolkits/play.php?template_id=2&page=40' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script 'feeds.delicious.com/v2/json/popular/grec...t=20&_=1453488028940'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

However I just tested via a 3.1 install which is also via https and that worked fine so suggest you ask your colleague to upgrade to 3.1. I think there might have been some changes in later revisions of version 3 which are obviously included in 3.1 to deal with this kind of issue.

Try using jquery to add content to the header. In 3.1 you can add css direct to an optional property or even in 3.0 via a custom stylesheet.
