expand youtube video to full screen

Hi,
I'm sure in the past the the expand video to view full screen feature was available for youtube videos (MSC-Youtube Video page)? It's not working now, as I haven't updated my Xerte install (V.2.1) I'm assuming this is down to some changes made to Youtube. Can anybody suggest a workaround, we're not ready to update to V.3 just yet.

Do you mean that the youtube film doesn't include the fullcsreen toggle in the toolbar?

Can you share a URL to an example? It works fine in our v3.0 install, but I don't think this is anything to do with Xerte.

Thanks for the quick reply. The full screen button is on the Youtube video as normal but when I press it I get some text saying "Full Screen is not available". Youtube settings seem okay.

I just checked via a 2.1 installation and the full screen button shows and works just fine. However the buttons do only show once you click play so is it as simple as that here or are you clicking the button and nothing is happening?
Here's a quick test with a YouTube clip embedded in bot the dedicated YouTube page and also just embedded in a plain text page mitchellmedia.co.uk/xot/play_175

But also why delay in upgrading to version 3? There are so many benefits and once you've upgraded you'll never look back!

Ah, I also see it is 'unavailable'. I take it you've read the guidance here: support.google.com/youtube/answer/6276924

Perhaps the publisher disabled it?

Ron's example also shows 'full screen is unavailable' for me. Hmm.

This is on both FF and Chrome.
