Unable to use latest V3 Beta in XAMPP installation

I thought I'd do some more testing on Version 3 Beta using a local XAMPP install and so downloaded the newest install (2015-07-03) but get the following message when I open it in my browser window:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare _debug() (previously declared in C:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits\setup\xampp.php:41) in C:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits\functions.php on line 57

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling XAMPP, making sure all the files in HTDOCS are have been removed but still get the same message. I then tried the 2.1 installation and that seems to work fine, so I'm assuming it's not a problem with my installation of XAMPP.
Has anyone else tried the latest release with a XAMPP install?
I'd love to carry on testing but am now a bit stuck.

I'll have a look, and make sure there is a new installer tomorrow.

In the meantime, you could try the main install. It gives you suggestions for XAMPP.

Tried out yesterday's version 3.0-beta (git git-872-g7646cee) with XAMPP on my laptop and still not working. Have just tested it on my work computer and get the same error message as before:

It works with version 3.0-beta (git git-823-g334c766) from a couple of weeks ago, though.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by the 'main install'.

Sorry, I haven't had the time, to test my fix.

By main install, I mean choose 'Press here for a full install' (There is a typo on that button, that I need to fix as well.
