Mp3 load on ipad, not on windows

Hi all,

I added a couple of MP3 files to my Xerte in synched audio-text pages. I can start the smaller audio files from Xerte on my windows machine, but the bigger ones not. Strange enough, they do work on an Ipad... Is the solution to increase the file format (and quality), or is there a parameter that I missed?

Can you share a link to an LO where this is happening?
How large are the files in terms of MB?
If you move past the relevant page and then back again does it then play?

Haven't seen this before so just guessing but there shouldn't be a difference between small and large files apart from server/client resources and connection speed etc.

I solved the problem (more or less). The MP3-sound quality was the best possible. I converted it to then some less quality, the filesize decreased and now I can play them all on a windows machine. Above a size of appr. 1 Mb they didn't work.

Everything is fine now. But still strange an Ipad played it well, a Windows engine not.
