Bootstrap hamburger menu going unresponsive on mobile

Hello,
We've found that if you open the hamburger menu in a bootstrap object and start scrolling down the page, the menu often auto-collapses and will not re-open without a page refresh. This happens in multiple mobile browsers (Chrome, Edge, DuckDuckGo) and all bootstrap objects tested, including your own bootstrap demo .
Would be grateful for any advice.

you seem to have found a bug that has existed for quite some time! I guess because if a user opens the hamburger menu they then mostly select the page to jump to rather than scrolling down with that pages menu still open. However, I just checked this with earlier revisions of 3.15x and 3.14x and then also 3.13x and the bug appears to be there since 3.14. e.g. my local development copy of 3.13 doesn't do this.
I suspect it's going to take us a while to track this down and then to include in an update but if we find a solution that could be added to projects as a temporary measure we'll repost here.
