a quick reply but you'll need to liaise internally and then get someone to contact me directly about the various issues and solutions...
1. Fay worked on a fix for the section ID issue that broke internal page links so potentially there is a fix for that which can be added to your servers.
2. However there's still some debate about whether a combination of internal page links together with page ID's and section ID's works in a way that everyone would expect.
3. I've been waiting to hear back from Chris (partly after discussion with you) about the folder sharing issue but yet to hear back.
4. There's also an update to the code that Tom worked on to fix a different (potential) issue with folder sharing and again could be added to your servers.
In short this isn't the place to continue discussing all of that especially as to fix any of this on your servers needs internal dialogue and change approval etc.
