I have copied plain text from a .txt file into a text section. When I style a heading, the next line also gets styled. I can create a new line, then style, then delete the new line, and this gives the desired result... but is there a better way? Maybe is a bug?

Hi Joe
this isn't really a bug. I suspect it's because your pasted plain text doesn't have any html tags or at least appropriate html tags? e.g. if when you view the source after pasting you have p tags around the lines like:
<p>heading
</p>
<p>and text
</p>
Then selecting and applying the heading will work and only change the first line. However if you don't have and tags separating the lines or if it's br rather than p then selecting and applying a heading will apply to both lines. Most reliable was is to put the cursor on the second line, hit delete and then hit return which should separate the two lines with p tags and then you can apply styling. Appreciate that's not a great solution if you're pasting lots of text. In that case the best option is probably to use a text editor to do a find and replace to add that tags in before pasting in to Xerte.
