Xerte Desktop sizing problem

I have a desktop xerte app that the size is set to 975,731. This sizes properly when 'previewed' in authoring mode, but when I put it on a web server the right side and bottom are cut off by about 30 pixels (nav buttons can't be seen, etc. and display text is cut off). The html display window is not the problem, I am opening a window with JS to 975,731 but the RLO itself is cut off.

I've set the LO icon 'stageSize' 'DefaultSize' and 'StatusSize' (not sure what this does) to 975,731, also the interface icon property is set to display 'full window'. No matter what I try I can't seem to get the RLO to display it its full dimensions.

Am I missing something, or is there something else to set to control the dimensions of the RLO itself?
