Hello everyone,
I have a problem with the xerte software. If I have created a project and export it as a *zip for a USB stick or runtime, the *zip file is empty! Who can help me with this problem :-) Thanks in advance...

Could you check (or let someone check) if the php-zip extension is enabled on the server that runs your Xerte installation?

If that is the case, it would be good to know which version of Xerte you are using.

Wonderful :-) It took me a little longer because I'm not a big computer expert! I changed the ini file as you advised!!! Fine! Thanks again

Hi,
It seems I have the same problem. Yesterday I installed Xerte (first time user) on my laptop. Everything works OK but exported zip-files are empty.
- How can I check the php-zip extension (cannot find a file like that on my drive)?
- What is the name of the ini-file and what was the suggested change?

Thanks for any help!

Chris

Btw: Where stands the abbr. XO for (Xerte Output?)

I suppose it should have been XOT Export :-)

Are you using xampp? If so, start the control panel (just browse to http://localhost) and press the PHPInfo button:

Look for zip.

If that is not available google for adding php zip extension to xampp

Hi all, We run Xerte on a server, and have Zip enabled. However, I've only just noticed that the following doesn't work for us:
Get Deployment Zip
Get Archive Zip
Get Offline Zip
The Scorm zip works fine. It's been a year since I downloaded a Deployment Zip so I can't confirm when it last worked for us. Any ideas?
