I am trying to create content for a HTML course and want to use HTML code examples in a text element. The editor keeps replacing or deleting the tags I want to display.
I have tried placing the example code between pre-tags after displaying the page source to edit it. In the html code I have replaced < and > with < and >.
After editing another element and returning to my example code <h1> is replace by <h1> and shown as a header. <body> is removed.
I can't find a way to display HTML code in the content.

Is there a way to use HTML code in the content of my courses?

Ok, the forum is doing something simular.

The first <h1> should be

& lt ; h1 & gt ;

without spaces.

And <body> should be

& lt ; body & gt ;

without spaces.

If you are able to upgrade your Xerte install to version 3.11 that we released on July 4, there is a 'codesnippet' button in teh toolbar of the editor that enable just this and prevents changing the tags and/or interpreting the tags as HTML.
