Unable to click buttons on User interface

Hi,

I've just installed Xerte 2.1 in XAMPP on Windows and unable to click on the create project or new folder buttons or even the Logout button with any web browser, there is simply no response.

Does anyone know of a reason why this can happen?

Problem solved already. I realised that the javascript wasn't loading correctly because a trailing '/' is required in the site_url and failure to do so causes broken links and all the libraries are not loaded as a result.
