Xerte website doesn't show profile changes

I changed my location from Belgium to the Netherlands. When I apply the changes it they show in the edit screen, but as soon I watch my profile, I am still located in Belgium. Also there is a link in my profile that I want to change, but I can't seem to find where I can change that.
I am using latest FF.
also in Chromium this same behavior occurs.

When I look at your profile you are in the Netherlands . Or is that not what you mean? What link do you want to change? I can do some things on the backend of the website if neccessary.

The link I want to change is the efcjulesbrouwir.be link
btw, it links to xerte.org.uk/efcjulesbrouwir.be which is not correct.

When I _EDIT_ my preferences, it is set correct. But there is no option to change that link in my profile.

That shows your own profile when you are logged in. It looks like it doesn't take the settings from the preferences page.

I realize that there seem to be 2 profile pages:
xerte.org.uk/index.php/en/your-forum-profile
and
xerte.org.uk/index.php/en/cb-profile

The 2nd link is showing correct info. btw, in the 2nd link I tried to set a custom 'canvas' image. Are there any values the image must comply? Exact size in pixels or Bytes? I tried several sizes in pixels and Bytes to no avail.
