Hi Xerte Community,

I am reporting this issue, perhaps you know this already, and if you do, is there a solution?

Issue:
Using the same word as a Glossary term used, and as a link to a website, results in the link not working.

The text bubble with glossary definition appears, but the link I had implemented on that word in my text, is not an active link, but it should be active and linking to the website.

Look forward to hearing from you.
Anne

Hi Anne
There are really only 3 options with this:
1. Include use of the word on it's own and then again for the link.
2. Use the disable glossary option for that page.
3. Use a different word for the link.

As an example lets say your glossary included Xerte as a term and your page text was: Xerte is an authoring tool. You can read more about Xerte on the Xerte website .

In this case the first use of the word Xerte would become the glossary link and the second use would just be plain text and the 3rd with the link attached would still work as a link.

For option 2 disable glossary for that page you could attach the link to any instance of the word including the first instance.

For option 3 the link could be changed to: You can read more about Xerte on the Xerte website .
