maths formulae in Media Lesson page not displaying correctly

Hi

Maths formulae are not displaying correctly in Media Lesson pages. Seems to be ok in other page types though.

I've made an example LO here to show the problem: xerte.uwe.ac.uk/play.php?template_id=2635

Anyone know what the problem might be?

Hi Oli,

It seems like there is a bug in this page. MathJax needs to process any content that has been dynamically added and for some reason it isn't here...

I have a fix though for you. If you locate the file mediaLesson.html at location \modules\xerte\parent_templates\Nottingham\models_html5 of your install and edit it:

Find the line that reads at about line 1338 (depending on your version). 2 lines before is a curly bracket }

Add immediately before that curly bracket so that the 3 lines look like this:

Save the file and then clear your browser cache and retest the page. All should be working now... I'll commit that change and it will make it into the next update.

Oli - I've made this change on your installation now and verified that it fixes your example but you will need to clear offline files to see it working.

John - are you going to commit that fix to develop? I made that change and tested via develop first so can easily commit if you wish.
