For an example see the 3.6 release notes and the embedded opinion interaction at the bottom of that page xot.xerte.org.uk/play.php?template_id=81#page4section22

one of the problems/challenges with Xerte is that the documentation is, lets say, not very up to date. In fact: most of the new features introduced in 3.6 and X are more or less a kind of find-it-out-yourself.
So am I for example struggling with the adaptive page. Without some kind of documentation it is almost not possible to use all of the features of Xerte in a professional designteam. It costs to much time to find out how all new features work. Normally I call Tom, but that is not a structural solution.

I heard Fay started something to speed up the docu process. Is there any news?
Holy cow!

I did start a review of the documentation we have & what needs to be updated. Unfortunately this hasn't really gone much beyond creating a list of what we have so far - I have to fit it in around my other work at UoN so can't easily put aside a large chunk of time to look at it. I am trying to create new documentation when I get a chance though - last month a guide to using variables was made available (see link from this project: Xerte Docs )

I agree though that we do need to get better at more quickly documenting new features that are released - I personally haven't used the adaptive content page so can't help you with that I'm afraid.
