Good day,

When I try to upload images or .mp3 files I get the above mentioned error (I have not tried .mp4 as yet.)

If anyone can be of assistance in resolving this error it would be much appreciated.

Where or how do you try to upload those files? In a specific page type?
Could you provide a screenshot of the error message?

How is your Xerte install hosted? Running locally (on XAMPP, Windows? Mac?) or on a server (Linux? Windows?)

Good day, Tom

I am trying to insert the image and .mp3 on a Graphics and Sound page as per the tutorial.

We have it installed on our Linux server.

Please let me know should you require any other info.

Regards

Is this a new install or an update of an older install?

If the latter, could you please run <xerte url>/update.php

Also, when in the file browser, where you would upload the file (the window of the first screenshot), press F12 (preferrably in Chrome) and try to uplaod the file again. Do you see any error in the console tab of the debugger window (if so, send me a screenshot please)

Note that you can only choose an image file in that specific page.
