I've updated Xerte to 3.5. There is no Bootstrap template like in 3.3 version. Where can I get Bootstrap template to add it through management.php.

How did you upgrade?
There is definitely a bootstrap project template as part of 3.5 so there is something wrong with your upgrade and I don’t think trying to fix that by uploading a template via management is the right way to try to fix that. Clear your browser cache/offline files or try a different browser.

Check the folders, check permissions, check the database, check the settings in management.

I followed the easy option method of upgrading.
It may be that there was an error during upgrade process. With the tool I can work and everything is fine. I also see old projects.

I do not see Bootstrap templates among the templates (attachement 1). Where should the template files be in the portal's directory structure? If I make a search on the server (attachement 2), I find the bootstrap files. I do not know if they are in the right directory. Which files contains the template?

The bootstrap template files are in \modules\site\ but I doubt that's the issue.

You did apply the full 3.5 download not just the 3.5x update?

What do you see under management > Central templates \ site?
The template should be set as active (3) and the access field (2) should contain an *

I've made 3.5 download and update and also 3.5 download and update.
I've solved the problem with direct editing in MySql database. Now I can see the bootstrap template in my Xerte Dashboard (att. 1). Template is still unvisible in management.php (att. 2).

My virtual machine with Xerte is rather old (first installation of Xerte was made 2012). I've made several upgrades. After last upgrade I've had a problem with static login which I've used all the time. After your suggestion I'm using now the user management in management.php variant. I have approx. 450 projects made by my students and me on portal. Maybe I should do it a fresh installation of Xerte but I would like to keep all projects. I'm afraid there would be something wrong during fresh installation.

The template IS showing in your management page - it's called Site. Click show and you will be able to see and change the text description and availability etc.

\the control over authentication changed from auth_config.php to being stored in the database and controllable via management. At some point you've missed the instructions about that in a previous upgrade. You can still use static but db is a better option.
