Hi
I need a couple of offline modules, so I exported my Xerte with the offline export feature (3.5). Opening of the offline module results in a module with very strange messed up pages. Graphics are placed in strange places, interactivity behaves strange, MC-answer text is weird and even the fontsize is different. I tried different browsers, different themes, but all give they the same result. It looks like a css problem, but I have no idea what to do.

Who can help?
Holy cow!

Hi Jaap,

I noticed the same. The off-line website has not completely messed up, but in my case I used the Tabbed Navigator+ to create a menu on the left side. After the export all menu items are shown in one line.

Like:
item1 item2 item3 etc.

instead of

item1
item2
item3
etc.

Hi both
firstly a quick check - you are extracting the zip and opening the index file from the extracted folder aren't you?

If that isn't the problem then can you update your installation to the latest 3.5 updated on 18th Sept and then try again?

I'll install the last update and let you know

Has this been resolved?
I have exported my first project and the CSS does not appear to be working. The gap fill words are as wide as the page, the categories are vertically spaced and the background image is gone. Tried exporting both in html5 and flash and viewing in Firefox, Chrome and Midori. Using the URL displays fine on all three.
My classroom lacks internet access and I was planning to use offline access to replace the much hated Powerpoints while my students accessed the site on their phones.
Using a Softaculous install of 3.5.
