Issues with ingestion of SCORM 1.2 package

Error on Moodle:
"imsmanifest.xml is found, but it needs to be placed in the root of the SCORM package".

How to replicate it:
1. I have an instance of Xerte running on MAMP on my Mac.
2. Create a Learning Object using Xerte Online Toolkit.
3. Export it to SCORM 1.2 package, it does in a "folder" and not a "zip" file.
4. Zip the "folder"
5. Upload to Moodle 3.1 > Activities > Scorm Package,
6. On the upload and save, an error is encountered stating that "imsmanifest.xml is found, but it needs to be placed in the root of the SCORM package".

Request:
1. Can Xerte Online Toolkit produce a valid zip file for SCORM 1.2 package instead of producing a folder?

Is this a peculiar issue that I am confronting or others also have had this issue.

Hi,

Not sure what's happening but the Export Scorm 1.2 option should be prompting you to save a .zip file. Are you sure you're Mac is not auto-unpackaging the .zip file?

Also, what browser and XOT version are you using? You should be able to zip up the contents of the folder again but you need to make sure that the .zip doesn't have a folder inside but has the imsmanifest.xml just inside the zip.
