Upgrade from 2.0 - 2.1 Stylesheet issue

Hi,

I’m testing the clean upgrade process from 2.0 to 2.1 on my localhost XAMPP installation before doing the same on live server.

I followed the ‘Upgrading an existing installation’ instructions to upgrade my XAMPP localhost installation from 2.0, to 2.1 (See procedure attached; I’ve added my comments in blue text).

After running upgrade.php and returning to the home page the webpage didn’t display correctly. I cleared my browser cache and restarted XAMPP which had no effect. Fortunately, I also have a full installation of xertetoolkits2.1 on XAMPP which does display correctly, so I copied the styles folder from that installation into the upgraded installation which resolve the display issue.

It doesn’t appear the upgrade process upgraded my css files. Do you know why? Did I miss a step or is there a bug in the upgrade process?

When upgrading xampp I tend to do a clean install and then copy the database and userfiles folders back into the clean install. On xampp, the user-files fodler is obvious, so take a copy of it. Also take a copy of the xampp/mysql/data/toolkits_data folder. Then delete the old install, install the new one, and copy those folders back in.

It wasn’t XAMPP I was upgrading, it was xertetoolkits from 2.0 to 2.1

I'm sorry, I'm a bit puzzled. You said, " When upgrading xampp I tend to do a clean install.." Did you mean, "When upgrading xertetoolkits I tend to do a clean install.."
