how to get subtitles on embedded video

Hi-
I've created training for my students with xerte using some Youtube videos as part of the training. Even though the video in youtube has subtitle option, that disappears when viewing the training through xerte. This then makes it inaccessible to those trying to complete the training who are hard of hearing.

Is there an option to include subtitles on the embedded video or is only option to write transcript?

How did you embed the video? And what version of Xerte are you using? Using the latest Xerte and using either the YouTube page or the video page (using the complete embed code) or the video page using the share link, Xerte gives me the opportunity to switch on the subtitles as in both cases the youtube player is used.
