Public URL results in "This project does not contain any pages" message

Hi All

I have a staff member who has created a Xerte project that has multiple pages which are visible in Edit and Preview. The Project has been 'published' and made Public. However when the public URL is visited it states "This project does not contain any pages."

I've checked in the management.php admin area and the projects look normal, except it looks like there are multiple copies of the same project, all trying to use the same URL. Not sure if this is the issue?

I've checked other Xerte projects and everything seems to be working normally.

Anyone come across this problem before?

First thing to check (which you already did) is whther the LO is published

Second thing is whther all pages are available. Check that they are not hidden (or opened only during some period)

If you used the search functionality, an LO might be listed more than once. Perhaps that is the reasin why you see projects with the same URL? Obviously each project should have its own URL (but that is not something you can change as a user).

The LO is published (i.e. made Public).
None of the pages are hidden or have timings set on them.
Yes, I was searching for the user and see multiple instances of the same project.

Anything else I can check?

Well.., more technical:

- Is the disk full?
- Does data.xml exist in the project folder (if you know how to find the project folder on the server)

Also can you share the public link with us either here in the forum or via a DM if necessary?

Tom: I can't get access to the server, only the management.php admin area. I have a ticket in with our developers so I can add the need to check the disk / project folder.

Ron: I'll message you the link - I don't think the staff member would want it publically accessible.
