Hi Tom
I ran upgrade.php when I tried to upgrade my current version of Xerte, that was when it would let me see my existing learning objects but wouldn’t let me edit them or anything else. I hadn’t run it for the clean install as I didn’t think that was needed.
I’ve now run upgrade.php on the new installation with two folders in but it still wouldn’t let me create learning objects.
So I deleted everything in the xertetoolkits folder and reinstalled from the download zip file. San setup, accepted all the defaults again. The only warning was for “PHP mail”, but it said that only mattered if I used PHP mail and I don’t. The only thing I added was the admin account user name and admin account password. I ran upgrade.php and it said the database was fine, it just deleted some files from some themes.
Again I can create folders – see attached screen shot, but when I click on the create button nothing happens. I checked the user files and there is nothing there apart from the three files put in from the download
C:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits\USER-FILES\.htaccess
C:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits\USER-FILES\index.html
C:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits\USER-FILES\readme.txt
