The onion of Irony - using Xerte to build accessible practice one layer at a time Alistair McNaught

A #xerte18 session recording
Nobody deliberately excludes disabled students, but many organisations make a good job of accidentally doing it. The extent to which a disabled student thrives and prospers through their educational journey may depend on the digital skills of the staff who teach them and support them. Xerte toolkits provides a solid foundation for creating inclusive and accessible learning experiences but, as this session will explore, there are many layers to the student experience. This session will explore the considerations - from pedagogy to policy - that will help ensure you make best use of Xerte to create not just resources but accessible learning journeys that benefit all.
