Hi all readers of this community.
I remember quite a time ago being able to embed directly PPT into a XOT page.
I'm not currently giving a try on version 2.1 an am experiencing some difficulties to embed directly PPT resource. I'm not whiling to export the PPT ressource if possible.

Thanks in advance.
If I can help I will do for sure...

You can easily link to an online PPT file from any page but you can't really embed a ppt in it's native form.

You can however embed anything that plays in a web page via the embed content page if that resource is online or you can get it online to generate the link.

If using the XOT flash player engine you can convert your ppt to flash with tools like iSpring and set it to generate a single swf so that you can upload via XOT.

If using the XOT HTML 5 player you can again embed and online copy of your PPT converted to HTML and iSpring now provide tools for that too. However I think just about any tool which converts PPT to HTML is going to create a number of files and folders so you need to have another way of getting that structure online before you can embed it.

Many thanks for this Ron.
I think I remember seeing in previous version a type that, instead of just pictures allowed PPT, so the page was text + a "window" allowing you to view "slideshow" but pure PPT.

I could be a dreamer on this one :)

There is also a possibility of using microsoft's onedrive where you can use an online player for PPT and embed that page. It's really easy to use.

Hey Klaas - have you done with with XOT - used onedrive for the PPT and run it out of xerte toolkits? If so what page type do you use in XOT? Onedrive is much like 'dropbox', correct?
