Exported projects won't open - possible IE11 issue

Hi All,

I have a number of student projects to look at but cannot access them in IE11 (or in Chrome (v31)). I get the message "The project data has not loaded" when I open the index file. The projects ran fine in preview form and were exported correctly to memory sticks. A colleague uninstalled IE11 at home and reverted to IE10 and the projects ran OK for her there. However, I need them to run on campus where we have IE11.

Has anyone else come across this and is there anything I can do?

Yes, I think this is a difference between IE10 and IE11.

The point is that xml data is dynamically loaded during when viewing an LO, and this is flagged as a security risk by modern browsers when viewing the content from disk (so not using a webserver)

I'll see whether you can change some settings in Chrome, IE11 and or firefox to ignore the error.

I have the same problem. Is there a solution yet to play xerte exercises offline on IE11 yet??

I also have this problem. In Firefox it works OK, in Chrome and IE it says "The project data has not loaded."

Does anyone has a solution? We want the students to use the LO asap.
