Xerte unusable after login

Hi,

We installed Xerte about a year ago and it's been working fine without issue until last week when, after you log in, the page is blank and none of the menu button work.

Has anyone seen this before?

What is happening? Do you have a blank page or do you have a page with an empty workspace and diabled buttons?

I assume the latter.

Nothing changed on the server side? Switch to https?

We've only seen this after a switch in the url (or protocol) or in some instances with a user that has a LOT of LO's where the server runs out of time.

Any errors in the browser's console (Press F12 before logging in)?

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Your assumption is correct, there's an empty workspace with disabled buttons.

We've recently made the site publicly available from outside our network so there's been a new SSL cert and a change to the URL, but it did work OK after we did this, for about 2 weeks.

There are no errors in the browser console, and the IIS logs on the server just show 200 responses when I access the site. Are there any dedicated Xerte logs?

The fact that it continued to work has also to do with caching.

What you should (or ask your IT department to) do is verify the URL in the mananegement page.

Thanks Tom. The management page has the same issue - presumably this config is contained in a file within the php somewhere?

Ah. This information is in the sitedetails table in the database.
