You may have seen that Xerte 3.10.5 version and update has been released and is now available for download.
You need to contact whoever does look after your installation to upgrade to 3.10.5 as a matter of urgency.
This should be treated as urgent and override any usual upgrade schedules. This is largely due to the fact that a growing number of web sites and social media posts have been publicising the potential vulnerabilities in earlier versions of Xerte.

A lot of work has gone into this latest release and there are many new features as well as fixes and improvements to existing features. This release also includes some changes to the menu structure in Xerte Online Toolkits.

A major focus of this 3.9 release has been the objective to include an accessibility statement and to automatically include a link to that from any resources created with Xerte, in addition to linking to the statement and included guidance from the the default authoring workspace.
An official accessibility statement is something that has been requested by our community and in terms of all the default functionality we provide in Xerte is not something that is easy to fully assess and accurately report on for individual organisations. In the preparation of the accessibility statement we also undertook to resolve and improve any accessibility issues found in more recent releases, or at least as many of those issues as possible prior to release of the statement and Xerte 3.9.

This release contains some important and essential security updates and we are urging all users to update their installations to the latest code-base as a matter of urgency. This update addresses some potential vulnerabilities that have come to light recently (thank you Rik Lutz and Tom Reijnders!), and we strongly recommend that you update your Xerte installation to the latest code as soon as possible. We recommend that this update is treated as an exception to normal change management schedules and that all Xerte installations, no matter how old, are upgraded to 3.8.5 ASAP.
